Teacher taught me to create Adobe Captivate First, I create the blank project and size 1048*768. This week, I learned about Corpus Linguistics from special lecturer Dr. Kriangkrai Vathanalaoha. Corpus was a collection of words and it was a theory and methadology of language. I knew that corpus was created since 19th - early 20th century.

There were seven types of corpera.

2. General Corpus British English.
3. Mutilingual Corpus
4. Parallel Corpus
5. Learner Corpus
6. Historical or Diachronic Corpus

7. Monitor Corpus

in the corpus have  several information, it's good for teachers or students because several information from corpus can apply to  studying or teaching.

Budsaba Kanoksilapatham  from Silpakorn University.First, She taught about teaching methods pedagogy and linguistic competence. Next, I learned phonetics and phonology.She taught me how to pronounce the letter “h”, consonant sounds because people often mispronounce this sound and vowel sounds.I learned to stress vocabulary and learned about Collocations, Pragmatics, Sociolinguistics, and Lexical Semantics, which was American English and British English.From seminar, I learnt many thing that have benefit to me in the future.

T = Information Technology is the application of computer to store, retrieve, transmit and manipulate data, often in the context of a business or other enterprise.

CALL = Computer Assisted Language Learning is the search for and study of applications of the computer in language teaching and learning.

ICT = Information and  Communication Technology is an extended term for information Technology (IT) which stresses the role of unified communications and the integration of telecommunications ), computers as well as necessary enterprise software, middleware, storage, and audio-visual systems, which enable users to access, store, transmit, and manipulate information.

CAI = Computer Assisted Instruction  is an interactive instructional technique whereby a computer is used to present the instructional material and monitor the learning that takes place. CAI uses a combination of text, graphics, sound and video in enhancing the learning process. The computer has many purposes in the classroom, and it can be utilized to help a student in all areas of the curriculum.

CMC = Computer Mediated Communication  is defined as any human communication that occurs through the use of two or more electronic devices. While the term hastraditionally referred to those communications that occur via computer-mediated formats , it has also been applied to other forms of text-based interaction such as text messaging.



TELL = Technology Enhanced Language Learning  is the use of the computer as a technological innovation to display multimedia as a means of complementing a teaching method langauge teachers.

WBI = Web - based Instruction is teaching and learning supported by the attributes and resources of the Internet.

MUD = Multi - User Dungeon is a multiplayer real-time virtual world, usually text-based. MUDs combine elements of role-playing games,hack and slash, player versus player, interactive fiction, and online chat.


MOO = Multiple Domain Object Oriented is a text-based online virtual reality system to which multiple users (players) are connected at the same time.
